Tony Abbott’s comment
that climate change is “crap” haunts him.

That claim has travelled around the world settling in the
most interesting places, including on the mind of Oscar-winning actor, Emma
Thompson.
And now the British actor has travelled to icy wastes of the
artic to make her point about the ineptitude of that comment.
Ms Thompson and her 14-year-old daughter, has visited the
Smeerenburg glacier in the north-west of Spitsbergen, which is part of the
Svalbard archipelago in the Arctic Ocean.
While there she singled out Mr Abbott and has her picture taken
holding a sign that reads: “Tony Abbott climate change is real, I’m standing on
it!”
