People just
don’t get it – climate change is real and already it is too late to stop a
process that is going to leave the earth seriously debilitated.
While we
argue over semantics, the situation grows steadily worse and what was once a “goldilocks-like”
environment for humans, is now becoming something quite different.
A story by Ryan Koronowski on Climate Progress headed: “Climate Change Is An Existential Threat To Humanity, Just Don’t Mention Protecting ‘The Environment’” helps us understand something about
the perversions of language an how one’s interpretation can be quite different from
that of another.
Also the story includes a wonderful video clip – I
urged you to take the time, watch it and if you are like me, you will be
inspired to again do all you can to help people understand the seriousness of
climate change.
There is, however, something else - maybe they do get it, but maybe they don't want to, as to admit it means they should do something.
