Extreme Weather means an 'unrecognisable future'

Anja Taylor explains
 'Extreme Weather'.
This week’s Catalyst on the ABC told us about heatwaves that killed thousands, apocalyptic floods and blizzards in the Middle East all of which it entitled “Extreme Weather”.

Australia has not been remote from that extreme weather with record after record tumbling forcing the Bureau of Meteorology to introduce a new colour for its weather maps, denoting extreme heat.

Wrapping up the near 20 minute explanation of the world’s extreme weather, host, Anja Taylor said: “When it comes to extreme weather, the connection is pretty clear. The warmer the world, the wilder it gets. And, with the speed emissions still enter the atmosphere, we a right on track for an unrecognisable future.”
