Events on Manus
Island and now condemnation for our climate mitigation decisions make it rather
embarrassing to be an Australian.
Asylum seeker Reza Barati died a violent death at Manus for
being guilty of “nothing” and now Globe International has described Tony Abbott’s
climate mitigation policies as “so unintellectual as to be unacceptable”.
Writing on Reweweconomy in a story headed: “Abbott’s climate policy: ‘So unintellectual as to be unacceptable’”, Johnathon Gifford quote
Globe International head, Lord Debden, who described moves to abolish the
carbon tax as “very disappointing”.
