Paul Lelliott will be a special visitor to Saturday’s
Beneath the Wisteria in Shepparton.
The new president of Shepparton’s Chamber of Commerce is
sympathetic to the goals of those who gather each month in the Maude St Mall to
consider individual and society-wide response to climate change.
Mr Lelliott, the director of sales, marketing and community
events at the nearby Shepparton Camera House, hopes to be able to join the
group for about 15 minutes.
Some from the Beneath the Wisteria group have been done
extensive research on a “park and ride” scheme for Shepparton using small
electric busses and are keen to explore that idea with Mr Lelliott.
Beneath the Wisteria starts on Saturday, November 29, at 11:00am, is free, open to the
public and lasts for about an hour. Some public seating is provided, but those
attending are advised to bring a folding chair.
Those with questions should direct them to Robert McLean at
0400 502 199.
