Ian Dunlop was once
an integral part of the “dark-side”.
The former international oil, gas and coal executive has
twice unsuccessfully south election to the to the BHP Billiton Board with aim
of encouraging BHPB to take greater leadership in addressing the risks and
opportunities which climate change.
Although he was once shoulder deep in the fossil fuel
industry, Mr Dunlop is now a climate change activist and just this morning was
on Radio National talking with Breakfast show host, Fran Kelly.
The interview: “BHP climate change readiness challenged”
leaves no doubt in listeners' minds that the efforts of BHP are largely “greenwash”.
