Facts, politics and
good sense are rarely comfortable bedfellows.
Climate change is an undeniable fact and good sense suggests
we act quickly to respond as best we can, but our politicians continue to
procrastinate.
Australia’s PM, Tony Abbott is on record as saying climate change
“is crap” and is see the international green fund as just socialism by another
name.
His reticence, and by implication Australia’s, to do
anything about responding to climate change, has raised the ire of many and now
with 2014 being the hottest year in modern history, the calls for action of
becoming louder.
