Chosen is right; chosen to be in the eye of the storm

America is, in the minds of many, the chosen country.

Chosen for what and by whom it’s unsure, but it appears  chosen to be in the eye of the storm in relation to climate change.

We have just emerged from what is seen by many as the “American Century” and now in the 15^th year of the 21^st Century, we appear to be again heading into another American Century, but with a decided twist.

New research shows that human-caused global warming will create conditions in America more severe than any in past 1,000 years.
