rince Charles is to address world leaders at the UN climate change summit in Paris next month, he has announced, hailing the talks as a "crucial milestone".

The two-week summit, which begins on November 30, is supposed to result in a legally-binding global deal to reduce global warming by cutting carbon emissions.

The Prince of Wales, a longstanding campaigner on climate change, has been invited by French President François Hollande to address the summit on the first day, when world leaders have also been invited to attend.
