We gather Beneath the Wisteria on Saturday

Recent elections around the world, and in Australia, illustrate that populism is afoot.

Populism and climate change have never been comfortable bed fellows and it appears that to respond with enthusiasm and commitment to climate change we need to intellectually and emotionally divorce ourselves from the forces of populism.

Those concerned about the nexus between populism, our environment and climate change will gather Beneath the Wisteria on Saturday in Shepparton’s Maude St Mall.

Saturday’s gathering starts at 11:00am, lasts for about an hour, is free, some public seating is available, but those attending are advised to bring a folding chair.

Further information about Saturday’s gathering from Robert McLean at 0400 502 199.
