The Canadian Government
is obviously of the same linage of that in Australia.
The Tony Abbott-led coalition government in Australia has
blatantly dismantled national science-based agencies that advocated for action
on climate change, while the Stephen Harper-led conservative government is
making a more oblique, but equally direct attack on environmental bodies.

reports in a story headed: “7 Environmental charities face Canada Revenue Agency audits” the seven environmental agencies most vocal in the criticism of
the Conservative Party are being investigated and may be subsequently effectively
shut down.
