| Lord Stern - 'Don't underestimate the risks'. |
A warning not to
underestimate the impact of climate change has come from Lord Stern on the
eve of crucial scientific report on global warming.
The former World Bank chief economist and author of the key
2006 Stern Review on the economics of climate change warned that scientific and
economic predictions were underestimating the risks of global warming.
A story published in The
Guardian, headed: “Lord Stern: It would be absurd to under estimate the risks of global warming”, argues that the risks associated with climate change
are “immense”.
