Beating the drum for climate change mitigation

Respected institutions have called with no apparent effect for changes in the Australian Government’s position on climate change.

The latest comes from the Melbourne Age in today’s editorial: “Seize the leadership challenge on climate”.

With little more than the Canadian Government as an ally, appears insistent in its belief that climate change is a matter for discussion at another time and another place.

That is a sad approach to what is clearly a human-induced dilemma and when looked at carefully and analytically, threatens the welfare of humanity and because of that climate change needs to be the first item of discussion at every forum.

The Age has made its position and views clear, and each of us need to makes ours known and although Beneath the Wisteria maybe a minnow in the climate change conversation, it is beating the drum for climate change mitigation.
