Climate change is likely to be more severe than predicted
according to the US National Centre for Atmospheric Research (NCAR).
Writing in a story headed: “Climate change 'likely to be more severe than some models predict’”,
environment reporter for the Guardian newspaper, Fiona Harvey, noted that a new
study found that greater temperature rises than earlier anticipated were now
likely.
The story said that
fiercer storms, floods, droughts and sea level rises would occur around the
world sooner than expected.
